Chip is an avid outdoorsman, environmentalist, hiker, and birder. He’s also a Master Gardener. He holds a B.A. from Trinity College and has worked professionally in the non-profit and advertising/marketing sectors. He has lived in Bloomfield with his wife Catherine, a garden designer, for fifteen years. They heat their house with wood and power it with 24 solar panels.
Chip focuses his efforts on fundraising for the Land Trust, most recently raising funds for the restoration of Hawk Hill Barn. He works on publicity and community outreach. He also can be seen volunteering with his chainsaw to help with clearing trails on Land Trust properties.
