Christopher is a consultant for conservation education and outdoor recreation. He also volunteers with the Connecticut Outdoor Recreation Alliance, Project Learning Tree’s Connecticut Education Steering Committee, and the Friends of Auerfarm State Park Scenic Reserve. He has 20 years of experience in environmental education as a project manager, middle school teacher, and nature center director.
A native of New York’s Adirondack Mountains, Christopher firmly believes people care about the lands they understand through first-hand experiences. When he and his husband aren’t hiking, kayaking, and gardening, he helps coordinate the Land Trust’s communications and outreach.
