Paula Jones
Paula is an avid conservationist currently on the Rivers Alliance of Connecticut Board and serving the Town of Bloomfield on the Conservation, Energy & Environment Committee, Parks & Recreation Committee, and Lower Farmington River & Salmon Brook Wild & Scenic Committee. As a native of Maine, she grew up playing in the woods and believes in the restorative power of hiking and being outdoors.
Paula retired in 2012, having spent the majority of her working career in the insurance industry. She is a past President of the Actuaries’ Club of Hartford and Springfield.
Now she and her husband, Kevin Gough, are stewards for the Land Trust’s Thrall Farm in Windsor. Both are interested in re-building sustainable local communities, including increasing the availability of locally-produced food. Paula has served on the Land Trust Board since 2011, including as Secretary, Treasurer, and now Vice President.
